Turbo Tax has remained a superior product

After many years of using Turbo Tax, I decided to use another software because of the great difficulty in moving back and forth, and in correcting mistakes made by information already entered not carrying forward. I came back this year to a superior product - Turbo Tax. AND, I got all the way through without a single error.

I've never had problems until this year. CA Form 3514 would not let me go forward so I deleted the form.

Overall, a good experience. I've been using it for many years. The format change on 1099's this year was difficult to use. The answers I got from questions posted on the forum were very helpful and appreciated.

Verbiage tweak due to misunderstanding

Always clear on almost everything. For some reason, this year, the question about small business health insurance premiums paid was worded in such a way that it made me think we were eligible to deduct costs for our various premiums, including Medicare, Vision, dental, etc. I realized when I looked at the forms, that I had mistakenly assumed this, and went back and removed those amounts.
That was the only "issue." A minor thing.

It took 9 hours to fix a 12 minute problem

There was a glitch in my program that prevented me from downloading state programs. I spent 9 hours - no exaggeration - trying to get this problem fixed. When I finally found someone with a solution (which wasn't rocket science) it took about 12 minutes to address. Hard to believe that this was possible.
