1099 Misc PDF Error

The 1099 Misc. process was easy to input the information, however, if you have add more persons on the 1099, there is a problem printing. When printing the COPY A for federal, it does not separate the names for multiple 1099 forms.

I want more clarity

I normally love how helpful the questions are, however, this year I was confused in a few different sections. The business use of your home had questions that seemed to contradict themselves and only after I read the instructions for Form 8829, did I understand what was being asked. Also, the child and dependent care credit section was confusing because it didn't explicitly explain why I wasn't receiving the credit, despite having paid several thousand toward child care in 2024.

TurboTax does not handle Traditional IRA conversio

It does not handle conversions from Traditional IRA's to Roth's correctly. I did a conversion in December of 2023 and paid the tax on it. TT did not offer to help me avoid an unnecessary penalty by having me fill out a form that showed that the increase in income was in December (versus at the beginning of the year or spread out over the year) so I got a penalty for not paying enough tax in through out the year when I actually over paid in December when I did the conversion. IRS took $160 for a penalty! TT should pay the penalty for this failure!!!
