Turbo Tax 2024 - getting much harder to use

The changes to TT2024 step-by-step for income, dividends and barter transaction are abysmal. They make step-by-step virtually useless. Forms view is now the only reasonable way to go for entering these items.

27th year with turbo tax

i have been using Turbo tax for many years. i have a rental which requires me to buy business edition. In the past a rental house was included on Deluxe. i would like that back. I don't feel what I am getting is necessary. Also, included in the past was Quicken starter edition which i found helpful

Have used Turbo Tax for a 'ba-zillion' years and have NEVER had a problem. Sometimes there is a bit of confusion when maneuvering around sections and it was formatted differently this year vs. others. BUT it's a wonderful option to use when you don't want or need professional advise or completion of the needed forms for this hated part of life. ;D

Relieved to have it not always happy about tracing where to put information as not always clear without some searching info. When it works well and my brain is in sync then its great. Saves a lot of headaches but as it gets more expensive it may outprice itself. Anyway I'm happy with the outcomes and the product. Better than the old read the info in hand way of doing taxes with IRS information.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
