I've used TurboTax for many years. This year (2024) I am disappointed that a) the program doesn't recognize the automatic filing deadline extension for my zip code, an easy fix; b) the program doesn't know to include the required California form 568 for my LLC.

Good product overall

Overall very good software. However some of the questions asked take awhile to research and are not typical for most tax prep people to ask. A good software is have hours and hours of free time to work on taxes.

it is easy to follow step by step with fed info. i have trouble with state as ks has a tax break for households with low income up to $750 . i do not qualify because the state counts ALL household income and i have adult child that lives at home.. took a long time to go through each state form to find out how i could cancel out the credit that turbo tax was trying to put on my state tax... finally found a line i could add the adult childs income to the household total with out affecting any other figures on my taxes...

I’ve been using TurboTax for years because it’s so easy to use and has great guidance. They make it so much easier to transfer past information, and they have step-by-step instructions and online support. It’s like having a personal tax helper! And the best part is that you can stop whenever you need to, go back and make any changes or additions, and then pick up where you left off. It’s so flexible and makes the whole process much more pleasant.

Can't fix return

Program will not let me fix my return by providing new 6-digit IRS pin and there is no way to get help.
