Everything is pretty much intuitive. When I had a question about an issue that was a little more complex, I was able to talk with someone from TurboTax who walked my through it successfully.

TurboTax has Issues!

Not good. You seem to make it harder to use. Last years tax forms were not easily found by your app. I then tried a pdf and even though it found it it didn't transfer anything. Later on I saw somewhere the transfer doesn't work with a pdf. Downloading from where we invest I had a problem with getting it to work. Your app doesn't allow special characters in those passwords. WHY NOT? I'm not pleased and think it's time to look at other apps to do next years taxes.

NC Bailey exceptions should not be part of Federal

While preparing the Federal return, I am asked, for the 1099R, what state implications there might be as well.
When I prepare Federal, I prefer to think only of FEDERAL, We file 2 states and would rather focus on ONE Taxing agency at a time.

The BAILEY NC exception should be handled in the NC return, not the Fed return.
