I've been using TurboTax since pretty much the beginning in the 1980s. It is easy to use and I have a great deal of confidence in its accuracy. I can't even imagine having to prepare my taxes any other way.

Turbo Tax Desktop 2024 gets Vote of Low Confidence

Turbo Tax Home and Business 2024 desktop sometimes would not "continue" my return even when started I the application as Administrator (error 70001). I found that I could open the file by double clicking the file name in Windows 11 file explorer.
Turbo Tax incorrectly assumes that first year Required Minimum Distribution cannot be taken in the tax year of the triggering birth date. (Taxpayers are not required to wait until April 1 of the following year.) Inexplicably, real property taxes on my home could not be entered as an itemized deduction.

Turbo Tax never disappoints!

Turbo Tax seems to have worked out some of the glitches of past years. Thinks flowed through much better without adjustments and corrections this year. Hope it stays that way and there are no problems. It was a pleasure to use this year!
