Turbo tax is great

My taxes are not that hard so I did not need help from a tax advisor. I am very disappointed that we do not get one State Efile included in the price.
I hated the constant ads to purchase more Intuit stuff.

Easy to use, step-by-step entries with additional info through drop-downs. I have been using TurboTax since the 1990's and I've never been disappointed.

TurboTax is Good

There were a few bugs that I had to do workarounds. One in particular, I wasn't able to complete to the end of TurboTax my PA State Return I was mailing. Your system kept trying to force me to send the PA State electronically no matter what I did. I just saved and exited the software and printed the return from the pdf file (that I saved before I electronically signed the Federal Return) and never finished to end on that return. I also did my two sons returns, they worked fine. There were a few other issues that were easy to resolve. Also, for some of the calculations that TurboTax does, there aren't ways to determine how it calculated the values entered in fields. I like to verify that information entered by the software is correct and sometimes I spend a considerable amount of unnecessary time researching other resources to verify that what was done is correct, which is very frustrating. Overall though the product is good and that is why I rated it 4 stars.

A bit quirky this year

I have been use TT for many years and never had a problem printing the state return for mail. I was not able to find the process to print the RETURN for mail. IT SEEMS STATE E-FILE IS BEING FORCED. WHEN I SELECT THE TAB TO FILE, THE PROGRAM DOES NOT ADVANCE TO THE STATE FILE TAB.
