I encountered a problem with my tax return but this was remedied after working with the TurboTax support representative (Cesare). We tried multiple approaches to fixing it without success, but he was persistent in getting my issue resolved.

Turbo Tax generally good for doing taxes.

I appreciate that the program asked me a lot of questions so nothing is missed. I think it is hard at times to go back to something once you have gone past that category. i often go to "forms" so I can figure out how to go back to something. I feel the state of MN often isn't programmed throughly enough so I miss things at times that aren't carried to MN return by the program. The M1PR part of it is hard this year. It would let you easily skip it if you just want to do the MN Income Tax return other years but this year it is very hard to get back to if you skip it.

Problems this year

I like the way TurboTax works, mostly. I don't like the way the dividend and interest forms work this year. That they are listed is good, but it is not clear how to enter the info myself if I want, so I ended up with having the info twice, and it was a lot of work to figure out how to delete the extra entry. My forms are so simple that it takes longer to go out to the site / bank and retrieve the info than to add it in myself.
Also, the whole application quit on me 3 times. The first time it did, I had not yet saved and had to start all over.
