this years software was not compatible with my computer -who are you to tell me what os system I should be using

Turbo Tax Needs some program changes faulty

Your 2008 homeowners tax credit has caused issues when sending e file for many years? Please fix this issue when I click do you still live in your home it does not stay clicked as "Yes I still live in my home as of December 2024".

Turbotax is still the standard but could be better

I did not like the changes to the 1099 manual entry forms, the "cards" if you will. I had problems with connections to Xxxxx to fetch my consolidated 1099. Part of this was Xxxxx's fault as some of the line items were still pending from BankX. It all just came back with zeros and seems like there should have been an error messge. My estimated taxes for 2025 will be more complex now with RMDs. I'm withholding what I think are appropriate amounts but it would be nice to have MORE data entry boxes specific to this as well as perhaps some help with the calculations.

Importing my investment 1099 was more difficult this year. Then in the review it showed errors that were not real.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I moved, I had a baby

where is help when you need it?

You used to have a help feature that you could type in a keyword and it would take you directly to that place in the program - it doesn't seem to be there anymore; huge mistake to remove that.
