Extreme DISAPOINTMENT !!!!!!

turbo tax 2024 did not generate Form 3804-CR, Pass-Through Entity Elective Tax Credit.
I had to spend many hours t0 figure out on how to override software and generate this form. Or loose truck of credit over 10k

Solid for Federal, sub-par for state

For federal taxes, it does a solid enough job. State taxes are spotty. The explanations are not as clear, and sometimes it seems to send you down unnecessary rabbit trails.

Turbo tax is fairly easy to use, until you have to go back and put in a number you didn't have when asked a ?. unless you remember what category it was under. Even then, I still find I have to re-answer a bunch of ?s from a section I already went through to get to the one place I need to put something in. You can switch to forms view if you know what you are looking for. The search function was sometimes helpful. But it gets the job done and gets easier with repeated use year after year.

TurboTax, Easier than that big red button!

Have been using Turbo Tax for years. As a former CPA and tax preparer, it is one of the easiest and most reliable tax prep software's I have used, and I have used many. Even for those who are intimidated by taxes, Turbo Tax will walk you through, step-by-step, what to look for, ask the questions that a CPA would normally ask and help you with audit protection. For $100, it cannot be beat for peace of mind and accurate tax preparation.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

Turbo tax is good but still needs improvement.

The program is still too complicated. I tried to e file my GA state return but the program would not allow it. I should not be charged for the state e file since it did not go through.
