I have used turbo tax since it was first available. Great product but i don't like all the add on sales pitches. Paid $100 for the software and that should be enough. Directions to customer service help line where you can talk with an expert would be great.

I have been using Turbo Tax for over 20 years, and I find it easy to use and understand. And if I have questions, I am able to find the information I need with the online help or the IRS.GOV site. it is great for doing my business and personal taxes.

I think you should ask to your organization to include as part of continue improvements, to include SSN number verification against name and birth of date before the transmission of the files. This will be more proactive to detect errors sooner than later.

Turbo Tax isn't as good as it used to be

Quality of the product has gone down. Finding files is not as intuitive and things aren't where you think they would be. Other challenge was with error check where I run it and it says no errors and then when you re-run it, it will find multiple errors that need to be corrected.

Trouble transmitting California State Return.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and loved it. This year, when I was entering my second relative's taxes, it would not transmit their State information in California. The portal to pay the State fee kept saying there was a problem. I finally mailed it in. On my first relative's Tax Forms for the Federal and State, I had no problem. Both of those were for refunds whereas my 2nd relative needed to pay both and the Federal payment went through fine, but not the State. I tried all the comments on how to correct this, but nothing worked. Very disappointed to see this glitch.
