TT tried to rob me of $60.

I've used TT for many years and have loved the product. However, this year it felt like you were trying to rob me of $60 for the "Audit Defense" service that I do not want. I wanted to e-file state taxes but that $60 fee came up with no way to avoid it. I wasted a lot of time trying to find out how to do it but was unsuccessful. Only by not e-filing my state return can I avoid it. Please fix this problem!

Turbo is getting worse

The multi state of CT and MA tax returns was difficult as it was not clear how the one state was crediting the other state despite Turbo saying it would. I found the capital gains panels to be difficult to figure out. It looks like you tried to improve them, but they were not improved in my opinion. You charged a refund fee of $40! And you never provided what that was for. I never heard of such a thing. I wasn't able to efile MA. Don't know why not. The message just said that it couldn't be done. And my banking codes for a refund in MA did not copy over to that printed return.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Major Bug Report
on March 2, 2025

2024 version has a major bug. I import many 1099s and other forms from Fidelity using the import tool. It works, but ... If you import all the forms (all boxes checked), then later on import a subset of the forms, the new download erases the previous download. Worse, all the data from the previos down load is erased.
For example, I downloaded 10 forms. Opened and reviewed them. Then I deleted two downloads because they appeared to be dupes. They weren't, so I re-downloaded them by checking just the boxs for thos two forms. That worked, but the other 8 forms were deleted from TT. I was very happy to see my taxes go way down but it took an afternoon to repair the damage. There are several ways to fix this. Please fix it for 2025
