This year's version is much less user-friendly than in the past and the option to e-file the state return does not allow payment to be accepted.

Caveat: You may pay twice if you sign up for 2025

Useful to compare prior returns. Difficult to figure out if you sign up for next year how you can get next year's version. I forgot this year and not sure if I paid twice.

Turbo Tax was EASIER than I thought with the Step-by-Step process. Turbo Tax is less intimidating and makes preparing my tax return "do-able."

Watch out this year for state e-file fees
on March 1, 2025

Every year Federal and state returns fees were included with E-filing. This is an additional costs of $25 with $10 credit. Do not appreciate this hidden fees.
