had to reenter data on income three times because program did not ask for or accept the data.schedule d capital gains and loss short form causes errors in filing review. Error correction help meaningless

Needs AI still feels like 1990s software

Product drops the ball similar to parsons product. Pin question was not presented about dependents. In addition, when there is a question, user is dropped down to form and expected to make sense of the problem with very little prompting. Many of my friends are returning to an accountant. There are too many free options for simple tax forms. Your product is needed for the intermittent level of client.

Why isn't TT perfect after all these years?

Three specific problems: 1) Your marketing is deceptive -- you say TT Home/Business "Includes 1 State" but what you mean is that we can print and file it on our own. It doesn't inspire trust that the customer has to read the fine print for a feature that's in bold, and highlighted. 2) Your software has a bug when interest is imported, but we could only find and correct the interest by manually finding your forms and overriding the data. 3) Once again your software required upgrading our computer's operating system -- often the new OS triggers other software upgrades, which is annoying and potentially costly. And why is it that we need to download product updates each time the software is started (it's a similar-sized update so that feels like we're repeating the same updates).
