Turbo Tax is pretty good and guides you through it

Generally speaking Turbo Tax is pretty good and comprehensive. However, each time you open Turbo Tax it would be good if it also checked the software status for any updates. In my instance I was ready to submit the files electronically when I was suddenly informed that the transmission failed due to a software update required. A bit late in the day don't you think??

Don't purchase for apple. No sync to MS copies

Almost impossible to remove a software error without starting over. Too manyrefernces to other sources for completion of forms.

Turbotax Lets Me Sleep Well After Filing

I feel safe preparing and filing my return with Turbotax. The return process is thorough, providing the opportunity for a complete walk-through of each area or skip right to what you know needs to be worked on. And the Audit Defense protection lets me sleep well knowing they will be backing me if any issues arise with the IRS.

Misleading state filing fee

The software is easy and user friendly, however the state tax filing fee is really misleading. States I can file my state return for $20 and changes to $25 during the actual payment process. Five dollars is a lot for families on a fixed income. Not real happy about this.

electronic filing for every filer and every return

turbo tax should arrange to offer electronic filing of the federal and state returns on a per return basis. This would help everyone especially those who are in the middle of the pack (i.e. more than one return but less than 15). why? because no one wants to file paper: everyone wants paperless filing (i.e. electronic).
