turbo has serious flaws

this is supposed to be a free e-filing system. When I selected sending my Oregon tax information via e-file, I was sent to a third party for filing my returns where I must pay $40 additional dollars for e-filing. When I opted to mail my state taxes, the charge of 40 dollars went away. This is a scam. i paid almost $100 for this software and now you are trying to cheat me out of $40 with no way out except not to e-file my state tax return. (which is also costing $25 extra.
Then the program put me in a loop with no way out asked for days rented with no answer that would let me move on. I am a homeowner and this is another code error. So I am having to print my returns and mail them, and that is not what I paid for. You need to test your software with real people before you charge so much money.

Won't be signing up for Turbo Tax again. The changes made this year were confusing. Once I had to wait for a state form that was the same as last year's form. It is likely that next year I may not have much income to declare.

I have been using TurboTax for Home & Business for many years. My late husband had both a regular job and a self-employed consulting gig for many years. I have also had a household employee who has cleaned and laundered for us for many years. I find TurboTax to be clear in its directions and explanations, and straightforward in its logical progression through the filing process.
