TurboTax is the bomb !!!

I would recommend TurboTax to anyone that wants to do their own taxes. It is easy to use and explains things very well.

The one thing that stands out in my mind is the new look on 1099's in the step-by-step - very funky.
Also, the program did NOT ask for the IRS pin - I should not have had to hunt it (which, by the way, neither your help button or search button got me to the place to enter it).
I am not a new user - I have been using this product since the 1980's - I can go back and see the exact year if needed.

Bait & switch as to the cost of state filing fees.

Turbo Tax prepared the federal tax form and 2 state forms. At one point in the last section, prior to filing the software said the filing fee was $0 for the federal form, $0 for the first state form and $20 for the second state form for a total of $20. A little later in the process, the software said the first state form would cost $20 and the second state form would cost $20 for a total of $40. Finally, at the very end, just before the "click to send", the cost changed again to $25 for the first state form and $25 for the second state form for a total cost of $50!!!!!! Bait and switch!!!
