TurboTax is going downhill.

TurboTax used to be a relatively simple way to file taxes for fairly simple incomes and some small business information. It has really gone downhill. Endless questions about filling in CUSIPs and other terms we have never heard of and can't find on the tax forms. Forms don't import correctly. Told return is complete but after pressing File, get requests for more information. Will try an independent CPA next year.

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and it has gotten progressively easier to do. I have never been audited and it walks you through the topics pretty well.

Use it every year!

I found the usual good and near perfect program working in my favor again this year as far as completing personal taxes for 2024. One glitch had to do with the ability to print. Every time I select "print form" button it did nothing. I had to find an alternative way to print the forms.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
