Things Turbo Tax is missing

Two items keep me from 5 stars:
1) One of the two of us needs to submit an IP PIN for the return to be accepted. Turbo Tax should be tracking this and advise when I haven't entered one. I have had a rejected return upon initial filing two years in a row now. Easy fix, but this is the kind of thing Turbo Tax should be watching out for
2) I live in Washington State. We do not have a state income tax. Turbo Tax should know this, and should interview about this, and should not offer up filing a state return at the very end. I am sure this causes many folks who don't have a state return to file undue concern

Software is becoming too cumbersome to use

Each year, TT makes it more difficult to use the package by "dumbing down" the software and dragging the user through excruciating long steps -- the main example being interest and dividends ... which the 2024 version now requires 5 additional clicks just to enter interest; whereas, all prior years versions gave you a list of banks/orgs that paid interest and you could enter separately. If the user has more than 5 accounts for interest and dividends, the screen presented by the 2024 is VERY LONG and VERY TEDIOUS, as it wraps multiple pages requiring additional scrolling down and then multiple steps for interest. This is a nightmare. Should offer the user "quick entry" (a list to click on in a single box) versus a new user who needs to be dragged through the software. I used to like this software, but would no longer recommend it, not even to the new user.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
