THE ONLY TAX SERVICE I USE

I have used turbo tax for almost 20 years. I have never had any issues with my tax's. I even use it for my farming and ranching business.

GET RID OF AUDIT DEFENSE !

Get rid of Audit Defense please! For the past three or four years I've explicitly declined the offer, but once again it appears on my summary anyhow. At least it said "$0" this time. I don't trust that I won't be charged for it anyhow, as that happened at least once.
Every year I have to spend at least an hour trying to figure out how to avoid accidentally signing up for Audit Defense, and being dinged another $45. This comarketing scam has ruined my appreciation for Turbo Tax. I would never recommend it to anyone, and I will search online for a good replacement for it this evening, since I was once again forced to accept an offer for additional service that I explicitly declined.

Paid too much not to get free state filing

I already did my taxes with TurboTax, but I also do my son's taxes, as well. I filed both Federal Taxes, but was holding off filing Ohio State taxes. I didn't realize that I would have to pay to file state through TurboTax .In the past, the cost of one state filing was included, but not this year. I tried doing my state taxes on my state's tax website, but after 3 attempts, I still couldn't get the taxes calculated on the state website to equal the calculations done by TurboTax. I bought the Deluxe 1 user Windows/Mac Download, which was selling for $79.99, and now I have to pay $50 to file two state taxes. That won't ever happen again.

Excellent choice for doing personal tax returns..

When a user is well prepared with all required documents, the processes of building and filing the tax returns are fairly simple, easy to understand, straightforward, and extremely thorough. The entire process from downloading to e-filing took me almost 2 hours.
