State software still needs much improvement

federal walk through is great, Montana state walk through is terrible. It asks for info and totals that are already loaded from last year, it does not specify if the question is about or from state or federal return, and it has been this way for years, especially when it comes to tax status and amounts of last year's refund. I've had it and will go to a different vender next year. didn't explain many of the big changes for this year like mirroring federal status for joint/separate and itemized deductions.
