Overall I am very satisfied with the program I have used it for years. After an automatic update it suddenly showed that I owed taxes. After some research I figured out that it was marked that I had a foreign account which caused the erroneous tax amount.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and really like it

It was a little confusing, because I was dealing with two different states. Plus when I received my return my refund was lower by $1800 because Turbo Tax didnt calculate the tax correctly on our social security.

TurboTax Makes It Easy(er)

I have used TurboTax for many years, and it has provided excellent assistance and clear, easy to understand explanations for even some very challenging (to me) situations. This year was no different.
It could be clearer in some areas. For example, it could give a "plain English" description of many of the more complex tax areas (business deductions, for example) to make it clear whether the user really needs to spend the time to look up records for that particular area.
On the other hand, it fills out the forms without me needing to figure out what the title of each block means, which is absolutely awesome! While it seems that the IRS works hard at making some forms just plain hard to understand, TurboTax gathers the appropriate information and I don't have to worry about translating box titles.

Love Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and it is a familiar system to me. It makes it easy for me to prepare my tax return and electronically file as well as pay due taxes.
