Pushing e-filing.

I appreciate the walk-through to collect information. I found it difficult to get back to certain pages, e.g., determining anticipated income and deductions for next year to set up estimated payments. Also, I prefer to mail my state tax and that option was not given, only e-file later. That caused me a lot of concern when my filing instructions presumed I would e-file and gave instructions accordingly. I had to go online to my state to determine proper filing instructions of the tax return, even though the program was able to provide accurate information for my estimated payments.

Everything went pretty good, it took a little extra time since I am new to TurboTax. I was disappointed that I could not save an electronic copy to my desktop.

TurboTax Deluxe Poor to Mid-line

Experience was poor to mid-line. My original TurboTax basic would not import financial institution data, therefore I had to upgrade to "Deluxe", which I believe was the plan from Intuit all along. Even when deluxe version did the first import, it only imported blank forms without data. It took a second import to receive data. Online expert Tatiana, was 10 out of 10. She was the best.

I have been using TT for years and have never been audited or had an error on my returns. Now that I am retired they are much easier to do. And its cheaper then an accountant. Great program.
