Good, but a few "quirky questions"

Each year, I get a last minute "complete missing portions of for UE". It appears in the final screen right before the final "Transmit Returns" screen of TurboTax. I can "space through" and leave fields blank, but am unsure why this appears every year (for the past 3 years). I do not have a file UE, I am retired, have no business expenses, and do not enter anything into TurboTax when preparing my return. I am baffled as to why this happens.

There are a few cases in which things go around in circles without progressing. Other than that, the program works great.

Turbo tax is worse than worthless.

After using Turbo Tax for many, many years 2024 has been a nightmare year and I will not be using it again. First of all i made an error because I did not know that a deduction for a CCRC is allowed. We needed to come up with the down payment by taking funds out of various accounts that all resulted in a huge tax liability and we ended up needing to pay $49,000 in taxes. i filed with Turbo Tax and all went well. then I found out i needed to file the 1040x and claim the payment to the CCRC in order to get our funds back. What a nightmare from then on. I tried to file the 1040x and Turbo tax would not include the overpaid taxes in any way. I found it extremely difficult to ask any questions. Spent hours looking for help and finally found an answer in some independent (no thanks to Turbo Tax) forum which suggested i clear my cache and cookies. I did that and then was able to fill out the 1040x, but when i went to efile it, i kept getting the msg that i could not file electronically because i had not efiled my original 1040. by now my frustration is at a boiling point. I printed out both my federal forms and my state forms and will mail them tomorrow. Turbo tax said i could not file in NH electronically but after printing I noticed one of the forms said I could have. I know no one will read this, but you had better get your act together. I used to recommend Turbo tax to all my friends and family, but no more...
