Major problems in 2024 desktop version on MAC

Major problems in TT Deluxe - desktop for MAC! Have used Turbo Tax for decades and very disappointed in this year's bugs. Problem with setting up password to encrypt file was not fixed after filing complaint #1543073961. Also print functions for forms, either for printing active form individually, or printing/saving to PDF did not work! Had to do complex work around found in online forum. Other users had same problems for weeks. No fix!

TurboTax becoming more complex

New 2024 TT Deluxe software is more difficult/complex than any prior year.
Much prefer to manually enter 1099 Dividend and Interest, but software makes that difficult to allow doing so. Also tried to download prior year forms to Intuit/TurboTax website following directions provided - ran into challenges doing so as well.

over changed to file

I purchased Turbotax that was supposed to have 1 free state filing. It charged me $25 to file the state. I thought I had filed, since I followed it all the way through and it stated it was sent. I did not receive an email confirmation, so I checked and it said I hadn't filed, then it charged me $25 to file.

You made filing an initial and amended return very easy. Some additiona explanations would be welcome (the caption for the explanation needed for the 1040-X was very cryptic as are many of the explanations for forms like K-1 and 199
