Problem with MD 502 return.

Had a problem with effiling MD return. The problem was that TT assumed that spouses live in different jurisdictions (not true) and therefore could not efile. The TT default was to check different jurisdiction boxes. Software glitch was discovered by myself and a very helpful CS rep after about 45 minutes of examining the MD 502 form. Boxes deselected and efiling proceeded as in past years. Probably unique to MD returns. Need to correct and issue updates to MD tax forms.

RMD issue took awhile to resolve in the program.

I was disappointed in the program error on RMD contributions. It took too long for TurboTax to identify and fix the issue. I did get it resolved, and I did file, but it seemed this is something that should have been caught earlier. In Turbo's defense, it did warn me there was an error and not to file yet.

OK, sometimes was confusing to understand. Why do I pay for it, when you can download for free? Always says state is free, but i end up paying for it???

Used Turbotax for almost 20 yrs. So easy to use, it asks all the right questions and reviews with last yrs return. Still reasonable to buy.
