Not as stellar as usual

Software was good, but when I tried to print the forms, the format was missing throughout the returns which forced me to e-file. I always print and mail but was forced to pay my state return.

Turbo tax has been my go to for my family 20years

during the process of the deductions normally I don't worry about the text in the revew sections but this year while doing the taxes it came to medical and at the top of the page in big bold letters it stated if I had more than 3035 dollars in medical I could save taxes. well normally this would not even bother me as it normally states somewhere around $10k and because the standard deduction is 14K i don't have close to this amount and disregard. but this year that amount stated far less than the deduction for my medical so I proceeded to enter each cat got to the end of the section after about thirty minutes of calculating and entering the section and it stated I was better off to take the standard deduction which I would have done and saved myself and fingers typing and keying it just took me back.

Turbo Tax is good but could use simple improvement

The program should have a question in the step by step instructions asking the taxpayer if they received an IP Pin from the IRS, and if they did to input the pin number to avoid the IRS rejecting the return and being notified. Then the taxpayer needs to go to the forms option and input the Pin to re-transmit. By requesting the IP Pin sent by the IRS on the first go around of steps avoids delays and promotes a better customer satisfaction.
