Turbo tax is no longer easy

We have used turbo tax for over 10 years with great success and with great ease. Well this year it completely sucked. Program kept freezing up, repeatedly asked the same questions over and over, and would not accept the answers. As for the state return, that was a complete fiasco. It literally asked the same question 4 or 5 times then told us we had no taxes owed and were not due a refund. Having used this product for over a decade, we knew that was not right. So, after shutting down the entire program and system restart, we miraculously had a state refund over 2 thousand dollars. Its really amazing how in the past, if there was a problem or question, help was right there and free. Now that help is not free and you are charged a fee to speak with an "expert", there are lots of problems. I think in the future we will be finding other methods to file our taxes.

I have been using Turbo Tax for 25 years and it has saved me a lot of money and heartache. My wife has a retail business for 12 years and before that she worked out of the house. We just followed the instructions and tips Turbo tax provided and we have never been audited. I think it is great!!!

Can't print return

I couldn't print out a copy of my tax forms. I just wasted a lot of paper on gibberish! Hopefully, I'll be able to print from the saved pdf if I need to in the future.

WARNING-NEW FEE to "process" a refund

Experience with Turbo Tax was excellent - only objection was the new fee for "processing" a tax refund. What a crock. There has never been a charge for this in the past. It will make me re-considering using this software in the future.

Good Option for Filing Taxes!

Good program to use for tax preparation/submission. Main frustrations are connecting with person/info for process questions or overall guidelines on navigating the program. Sometimes end up in a loop or don't know if an issue/entry will be covered in a later topic. Very economical option given the complexity of the mission!
