I have used Turbo tax, (Fed/state) for many years. This year had trouble trying to delete duplications that arose. Called the help number; the person helped me use the correct delete part, and thus, worked fine.

I have 3 complaints: 1) TT places us into the 1040SR form, which does not allow transfer of previous year data into the current year, requiring hand entry of all 1099 and charity contribution data, as well as important carry-over losses, and Form 8606 data. 2) the current software requires many more keystrokes to enter data. 3) The foreign tax credit was more complicated this year. Additionally, when my first e-file rejected for incorrect pin, I could have used a prompt to check my IRS account to confirm that my November 2024 issued pin may have changed in 2025, as I received no IRS notice. Otherwise, the software is terrific.

There are far too many opportunities presented within the program to add on additional cost items. Once finished, I was unsure what cost I had signed up for because of all the duplications.
