Long Time Love Affair

We've used Turbo Tax for more than 20 years and just love it. When we added solar panels TT knew how to manage the tax credits and kept track of the carry-over. When my mother died, I was able to do her final return easily with TT guiding me. As we have aged, it's handled all the pesky Social Security and retirement funds with ease. We always feel confident that the return we file is accurate and that the refunds will be speedy. Excellent product.

I have used it for many years. Works well for the most part. Entering charitable contributions is tedious; I wish it could be simplified somehow. One annoyance is for entering mileage. It asks for number of miles per trip. My trips are always different as I make pickups and deliveries all around town and sometimes several counties away. So I have to somehow determine an average and lie about it. Should be able to just enter total miles, like miles for medical purposes. Please consider this. Thank you.

TurboTax works well, except when it doesn't

When I tried to e-file my state TurboTax return it consistently stated that it had hit a "slight" snag and would not accept my payment nor would it transmit my return. I spoke with Ruth, Yennie and Tammy who contacted tech reps to help resolve my problem. Despite numerous attempts and multiple changes and rewrites, nothing worked. I now have to mail my return. TurboTax representatives tried HARD to help me to no avail. I hope I get back my $5 trial charge that confirmed my credit card worked.
