TurboTax has lost it's user-friendly ways.

I'm being generous to give 4 stars this year. It was literally a nightmare to obtain access to, install on my computer, and use the software files. Having to create an account on Intuit website was a challenge in itself. The software could not find the TurboTax file of last year's return and load it into this year's data file. To me that was one of the major benefits of continuing to use TurboTax. Having a check-list of the previous year's data to add and compare this year's data was a very large advantage to me. It reminded me of items that I may have missed in my forms accumulation preparation. It was much more confusing this year to use TurboTax than in previous years. Intuit has lost it's advantage over other tax-preparing software. I will seriously consider another software to prepare my taxes next year.

Turbo Tax loads up so slow. Still doesn't input all information entered on federal into state. I still like it because the information is stored on my computer, I've used it for decades.

Simple instructions and interview system to fill in the information in the correct boxes/amounts, review process and correction of errors are also excellent. I have been using Turbo Tax for years.

Good program, getting more difficult to navigate

I have used TurboTax for decades. Now It seems TurboTax is making it more difficult to self prepare and therefore customers may feel forced to buy the extra tax help service. That's disappointing. Otherwise, I feel confident that TurboTax is a very good program that ensures the best filing outcome.
