Loosing Confidence

I was asked questions about 1099-R forms that I shouldn't have been asked. I was sent off to complete my State Tax returns when my state doesn't have an income tax. I just finally said I would file them later and moved on. It seems like every time I log on there are updates. How do I know there won't be more updates after I have completed my taxes? In fact I logged into to 2023 Turbo Tax to look at my return and I got updates for that version.

Instructions were clear and concise. There was a little bit of "legal-eze" but was still able to navigate the process successfully

I wish there was an abbreviated version to offer that uses last year's information and asks you to fill in the empty boxes which show last year's balances.
