Love Turbo Tax. Only complaint is I have filed with this for over 10 years. It never carries over info. Why do I have to look up my AGI? Should be in history!

TurboTax is useful, but has a glitch for Minnesota

Have used TurboTax for years WITHOUT getting their expert advice. I did the same this year, but experienced one major difficulty. The Minnesota filing had an option to generate Property Tax Refund. The software would not continue since presumably the Minnesota forms were not ready yet. Eventually I chose NOT to use that option in TurboTax (it is a simple form and can easily be done by hand), and ONLY THEN was I able to complete the Minnesota return. THIS WAS A MAJOR ANNOYANCE and Minnesota taxpayers should be warned. In fact, the TurboTax instructions should be modified to allow tax submittals to be completed without this step and then come back to it.

2024 Turbo Tax Disappointment

This year's version for MAC desktop was horrible. Very frustrated. Wouldn't let me load last year's taxes or W-2's from participating entities. It also would not autosave any returns and when I did try to save them to my external hard drive I got a you do not have permission message, I needed to rename it and save it somewhere else. Making me rethink using this product. I've used this product for over 15 years and have never been so aggravated. For $70.00 you would think there wouldn't be so many issues.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
