Pretty straight forward for me. have about 7 1099 forms and entered them all. Have only a few deductions that meet IRS criterial. Keep it simple!

TurboTax has gone downhill

I have used TurboTax for more than a few years and I have NEVER had as much trouble as I did this year.
1. I had a 1099-B and could not find where to enter it. Your program kept sending me to 1099-INT instead.
2. 1099-R 9a: I paid tax on the entire Gross distribution - why didn't the software calculate the percentage of total distribution? TurboTax was my tax preparer!

Turbo Tax for the win!

Turbo Tax is easy to maneuver and has available assistance when needed. They are comparable to doing them with any other service, except my "reward" tends to be greater in the end. Their accuracy and available help is comforting when hitting that file button.

turbo tax 2025 $$$$$$ than 2024

This turbo tax for 2024 was not as easy to flow thru as the 2023. have to stop and return for explanation of forms and meaning of tax stamens. Price was much higher for 2024 and software required upgrade for Mac OS.
