It does what it does well but it is expensive and now I am unable to share it with Family members which overall makes it very expensive for us to us.

This year wasn't the best of experiences

Seemed ok in the beginning. I filed my taxes with email refund return. Never heard a word from anyone other than the returns were accepted. I checked on the status of the return and my desktop icon for TT 2024 wanted me to start over. Couldn't find the completed return?? Finally dug it out of a file but had to resubmit because there was an unfound error in the way I reported my RMD which wasn't detected at the time.

Turbo Tax is super user friendly!

Install was easy and quick. Software is so easy and streamlined to use. Love the pop-up explanations. The guidance tool walks you through each step and you can even skip over some items that don't pertain to your particular tax needs. I find it to be a very thorough tax preparation tool. Finished my taxes in one evening.

Confused

I found the program more challenging this time; on a few questions, I had to revisit because I thought my info was automatically being added. Plus when I tried to electronically file my State taxes, I was being charged an additional $45; I think it was for the defense, in which I was not ordering.

I don't think it is fair to charge for almost the same software every year. There should have been a one-time purchase of the software and then offer an update for under 10$ every year.
