Too Much Up-Selling

I understand Intuit wants to make money, but I bought the product and just want to do my taxes. Too many times I have to say "no" to this and that up-sell.

minor things

overall pretty good experience - the billing page to pay for my state efile had the continue button in the very lower right of the page and I had to figure out how to hide my task bar in order to access the button. not a huge thing but very frustrating. Also automatically printed federal vouchers for estimated and I didn't want that - don't recall it asking me. if it didn't it should have.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Turbo Tax Improvement

Things went smoothly until I had trouble understanding a calculated entry - it would be nice to right-click on a calculated entry to see how it was derived. I did eventually figure out how the number was calculated.

Some glitches give it a 2 star

Turbo Tax is easy enough to work through. However I have never understood why the software cannot detect the monitor size and self adjust. For instance. I want to delete something I get a gray box but I have to scroll all the way to the top of the tape to click the "yes delete" button. AlsoI am giving 2 stars because I received a very ominous message saying I have to print these document to send to the government. Nothing happens when I hit the print button. Printer is on, adobe acrobat reader is downloaded, computer restarted. Nothing. Checked the forum and many people had this same issue last year and received no resolution even after phone tech support.

Turbo Tax would not file my Michigan return

I am completely dissatisfied with this years Turbo Tax. I was able to e-file my federal return but not the Michigan state return. After many hours online with the help desk I was informed I should print the state return and mail it in. I due returns for family members so Intuit is forgoing the $125.00 I would have spent the state return filing.
