not as easy as other years

It took twice as long because I had to hunt for deductions like charity because it did not come up. will look for something a lot easier next year. Also on my husband's retirement 1099R it kept showing that we needed an amount on #16, there was no amount listed on the 1099R.

This year Turbo Tax 1040 was predisposed to wanting the tax-payer to import 1099s etc. and I observed no guidance regarding how to get to manual input. Therefore it required me to phone TurboTax to obtain the process to get to manual input.

State was not e-filed but charged me for it

Product is ok but H&R Block can also do the same. My issue is after reaching the maximum federal e-file it defaults and suggests to e-file state then after paying state e-file fee it will not e-file due to maximum Federal e-file reached and won't refund my payment. For one thing I am not e-filing for federal and it is the same tax return. I just delayed state e-filing because last year federal was rejected and I was still charged for state e-file. I'm sure and know they can do this differently but this way they make more money. Maybe it's not turbo tax but INTUIT itself.
