Inaccurate information by you on rejected returns. The AGI for the spouse is zero. You provided the same amount as the other spouse.

I wanted to start over with state return which had not been filed after filing amended federal return. Turbotax wanted to function like the original state return had actually been filed which messed up some of the entries. Plus I could not find instructions for mailing state return which has not been a problem in the past. Frustrating to say the least this year.

2024 Version Not as good as prior years

Your updates to the product for 2024 make it a little more difficult to navigate; import of financial institutions information is glitchy and did not work as well as in prior years.

The quality of the product has diminished. More difficult and cumbersome. I had errors and reviews that weren't real and even going through all the steps, I would continue to get messages that areas "need review" and these messages wouldn't disappear until I did the federal review. The most disappointing area is if you transmitted your taxes and the IRS rejected them, you would have to use a secondary e-file or mail them in. This is ridiculous! I paid for the software so I could efile and wound up having to mail it in. Soooo disappointed! :(

Good overall, with a few issues

The instructions are clear and useful. However, each year when I go to pay to file my state return, I have a problem. This time, the program froze when I did the credit card payment for my state e-filing. Also, the automatic import of investment documents has never worked for me; I try each year and am unsuccessful.
