Turbo Tax needs to bring back the CD software.

I would have gave Turbo Tax 2024 + State. The reason I didn't is because I know are able to order as a CD.
I have 18 years of Turbo Tax CD'S that I can go back to if necessary. Intuit is still charging the same amount for it as if it were a CD. The consumer is doing Intuit's work.

Trying to print state forms for mailing is not intuitive! You should not have to say that you want to file all forms by mail to get the proper format for state.

Credit card scammed by Turbotax/Intuit

An hour or so after paying a small amount to Turbotax/Intuit and filing my return, there was a fraud credit card transaction. This transaction, upon my research, used all my personal data stored in my Intuit private "secure" account. After this first fraud charge, in the next few hours there were many many fraud credit card transactions. I do not recommend Turbotax/Intuit based on this credit card scam experience.

TurboTax has state issues they won't resolve.

Ongoing issues with the South Carolina download. If I follow the directions and remove TurboTax Deluxe, it shows my license code is stolen or not valid and wants me to pay for the software and state filing again. I have been using the platform for years and have never had a problem. Might be time to look at alternatives.

Great program overall. Easy, step by step instructions. You're not getting a 5 star because the filing portion became arduous after verifying bank accounts, asking for the AGIs, then having to pay an additional e filing fee on top of the state filing fee is getting time consuming and ridiculous. You should be more transparent up front about additional fees, like you do with state e filing. I was also disappointed that much of my 2023 information didn't transfer over. I found myself reentering data from the previous year. Historically, this info automatically transferred. I understand the importance of security, but perhaps you can do verifications via codes that are send to the phone, or something else that is less time consuming.
