This product has become way too cumbersome. I have used primarily this product for the last ~ 20 years, yet it is still making me enter key information because I used "online" vs. "desktop" version or due to where I purchased my license each year. It shows complete lack of integration.

Form requesting adequate health coverage

The only problem I had was this form that popped up like the Form 1095 -B regarding my proving I had adequate health coverage like under the old Obama Care. In the past, all I had to do was to indicate that I had proper health coverage and that was it. I have adequate health coverage both by the VA as well as Tri-Care for Life. This form was confusing as it had a lot of blocks to fill in and I couldn't figure out how to indicate I was already covered. I finally figured out how to bypass the form and move on. For someone who already has health coverage through the military, this form should not be popping up. Other that, I felt that the TurboTax Deluxe was put together very well.

Misplaced Customer Communications

The manner in which TurboTax communicates with customers changed significantly this tax season. I received numerous messages that sound somewhat ominous, such as suggesting I download W-2s. I know how to download them and I did so. I feel like the constant messages from TurboTax that suggest I should be doing something are misplaced and set a bad tone for a customer relationship.
