Have used Turbo Tax for about 15yrs. Simple and easy to use. It walks you thru step by step. If your return is not overly complicated than Turbo Tax is right for you. I like how they scan for errors and give you a probability rating for an audit.

This was my first time filing my taxes on my own, and it was as easy as it can be. I liked the guidelines the program provided, as well as the definitions of different types of exceptions/deductions/etc.

what does checker see?

missed a typo in son's w-2 (30 cents) caused a refund delay for him...I was surprised checker didn't catch it
it was in the three income amounts on the w-2 2 were right 1 has a 2 versus 5 entry ( keypad miss)

Miss represented when it said state was free.

I am a retiree and have very simple tax returns. When I purchased Turbox it said State was free, yet I had to pay 25.00 to e-file my state tax, must have missed that on the box.
