It's a little sparse on written help for simple business income. I haven't tried the online help as nothing I have encountered was enough to use this option. Like "Do you want to?" There is no info on what the options Yes or No will mean. Should be offered Always with those questions.

State Filing charge difference

Disappointed with filing my state tax e-file. The turbo tax program displayed I would need to pay $20.00. When I went to pay with my credit card the charge was $25.00 plus tax. $5.00 difference plus additional tax.

I was very apprehensive about doing it on my own, but it was really very simple, overall I got just a hare less back than when I paid a CPA to do it, but I saved a lot by not paying someone else to do it.

The program will not take me to my account to pay the State filing fee or for an additional State download.

Overall, easy to use. Downloading seems to require to many security checks compared to using the CD. Taxslayer allows the user to e-file state return for free.
