TurboTax’s user experience is smooth and well designed. Importing documents is straightforward, the interface provides step-by-step guidance, so you’re never left unsure of what to do next. I sometimes need more time to work on a section before I’m ready to finish it, so the ability to move between different parts of your return without losing data is incredibly useful.

Turbo Tax made it almost fun

Using Turbo Tax Desktop, I completed my Federal and State tax returns in one setting. It did take me awhile because I'm thorough and accurate in making all entries and rechecking them. But I also mean complete because I finished without needing any advice and have printed and saved all forms. Both Federal and State returns have been submitted electronically, no mailings necessary, and all funds processed using my bank account. A near zero chance of being audited, frequent filing status updates, and a BIG refund, makes me feel like, well, time to pop the champagne cork.

Great Product

I love TurboTax, it makes a tedious confusing process much easier. One issue, last two years the import W2 function does not work as it has done in previous years. It is unable to read last year's PDF or import W2 details using the Employer ID and Income Amount option.

The filing process is easy to understand and follow, and the instructions are simple. For the cost, we consider TurboTax to be a bargain. The Audit Defense likewise is a bargain and a true comfort to us.
