TT double charged me to file.

TT charged me twice to file. There was no way to continue to filing without paying a second time. Extremely disappointing that TT cannot keep track of this and I am out $40.

It was harder to download when you have to purchase it online. Also, having to waiting to submit my MN tax return because of the Property Tax Refund being combined on the MN return. The MN county's don't send out the new property tax statements until very end of March, so I am not able to send in my whole MN return until the beginning of April.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

I have used turbo tax for many years, and it is an excellent software. I have tried to use some of the free tax software, but they were no comparison to turbo tax. I like how turbo tax goes over every detailed item; it is difficult to miss anything. Of all the years I used turbo tax, there was a problem with their software two years in a row, but I was able to call, and someone walk me thru the issues.

Revision to T-Tax 1099-R Pension Section

For 1099-Rs, recommend breaking out IRA 1099-Rs, which have the disbursement code 7 and the IRA box checked, separately from all other non-IRA 1099-Rs that only have the disbursement code 7 with an unmarked box 7. This would simplify the generation of Form 8606's. For non-accountants, like me and many users that have IRAs which include after-tax contributions, this would help eliminate confusion between IRA and Pension 1099-Rs.

Outstanding tax filing program.

Easy to use and thorough in navigating the tax filing process. My only criticism is that there was supposed to be a $5 discount on filing state taxes but was charged the full price. Small yet irritating detail. If not for that would rate Tubo Tax Deluxe 5 stars.
