Still have a couple of glitches

You have improved greatly over the years. You still have a few snags. Like the fact that I am allowing the IRS to direct debit my taxes due yet you want me to print the voucher form and mail it to them. Without a check since they are directly debiting the amount. I don't think so.
Also I wanted to e-file both federal and state and your program stated I had to swear I had enough money due in my refund from the Federal Tax return to pay the $15.00 due for my state e-file. Can't do that. It was for the state refund and I owed the Federal Government so that wouldn't work.
I just went back in after I e-filed federal and e-filed state. And although I had a refund due I guess you don't have it set up to deduct from the state refund. So I paid it online.
Your instruction on those items are very poor.

Turbotax: you've lost me after so many years!

I have always used Turbotax for my family tax preparation for many years and been very happy with it. This year though, because turbotax has stopped users from picking specific forms to fill out, I cannot fill out form 982 which I need to attach to my return. Very, very disappointed that I bought it already and can't use it.
I'm compelled to go to your competitor to file my return this year and henceforth.

Few Bumps

Better clarity is needed with regard to filing an Amended Federal and State Return, whether they MUST be mailed in OR can be e-filed. Also, it was difficult to Amended the 1040-SR, as the TT instructions did not smoothly guide me to what needed to be amended within the forms.

Bait and switch... UNFAIR CHARGES can't trust

Can't give a negative star... so we will go with one star. First the program would not update. After an hour of restarting and trying to get it to work, we did it without updating. Supposed to get FREE Federal filing, but as we got to the end, it was going to charge a "Premium" again. Refuse to pay twice so decided to print everything and pay no additional fees. Bait and switch!!!

frustrating at the last step

Everything works fine except when I input the credit card address and other information while efile my state tax, the window is too small to fit all of the information. There is no way to resize the window or shrink the font to fit the window. Really frustrating!!
