State E-file should not have an outrageous cost

It is very convenient to be able to download the W-2, 1099, 1098, etc. data from online sources. I am outraged that you charge $25 to e-file the State tax return form. I am ok with a nominal fee, I have $10 that I could use for that but I would rather lose the $10 than gift you $25 for something that should be included or have a nominal $10 cost to it.

Turbo Audit Defense Charge

I was not able to get out or not subscribing to the audit defense. I was charged an additional $45, when I went to pay. I tried to go back and change it but the program would not let me. Intuit needs to make it easier to refuse this service.

Su w/questions and corrections during SEND

Went pretty well through the process. However, I was surprised at questions asked (and 3 corrections that had to be made during the SEND process]. Would have been better if you had asked me the 3 questions regarding RMD (entering RMD amount for 3 accounts) during the final check process, AND NOT WHEN THE RETURN IS BEING FILED!!!

I love using Turbo Tax but when I agree to e-file you always want to charge me the extra $45 for your services which I do not want and I can't find a way to get around it. You don't if I only e-file the Federal but you do if I want to redeem my $10 to e-file the state. That isn't right. I did not click on the button to agree to pay that but you still charged me the charge. I may have to find another company to do my taxes with.
