Long time user of Turbo Tax; very user friendly and very comprehensive; the system quickly picks up errors and provides help. Our return is not complicated because we are retired and on fixed incomes.

TURBOTAX NEEDS TO GET ITS ACT TOGETHER!!

only so so this year, too much issue with so-called forms being approved!!! Keeps being delayed and you are causing over 5000 in refund to have to be held up for over a month!!! This is totally unacceptable!! Maybe you should give me interest on my held-up money!!!!! looks like I am going to get forced to wait months because of you and manually print the one disaster form in question downloaded from the IRS, print the rest of the return and send in the mail because your company this year seems to not have its act together!!!!!

I formerly used TurboTax to do our taxes for over 10 years. I only stopped using it because we retired and our financial situation was somewhat more complex, so I chose to use a professional. This year one of my children needed assistance with taxes, so I used the purchased/downloadable version on my PC. All in all the process was relatively straight-forward using the "Interview" method and reviewing ALL forms. My reason for not giving 5 stars was that when all appeared to be totally ready to file the system presented several pages in one long scrolling format, requiring different information that was less than clearly spelled out. It would have made more sense to me to have the system require me to review any forms that needed to be updated (after it already told me all passed "inspection") using the standard forms. This part of the process could be improved, in my opinion. But I still plan on using TurboTax again next year, as it's an excellent product, just not perfect.
