Income annualization is not suggested by TT

The software (TT Deluxe) did not make it clear how to handle annualized income like ROTH conversions and capital gains. It calculated a penalty for me even after the review. I posted a question on the Intuit site about this and was answered immediately with the information I needed and how to get to that section of the software. This allowed me to annualize the income and get zero penalties. Once I understood where to find the entry to do this, the software did a good job on filling out all the forms correctly. So, a 4 rating because this seems like a common thing, but TT failed to recognize it. At least not obviously. A 5 rating for online support though.

It was very straight forward. I got a little hung up on reporting "capital gains", like did I need to or not and where to find it. I had to got back a few years in my Stock records to seen when and how much I bought stocks for that I sold.

Everything went smoothly once entering info. Purchasing remotely then uploading was challenging. It would be beneficial to offer the same pricing through TurboTax

Trouble

I had problems transmitting my returns the reason it said was it needed to be upgraded which usually happens when you open. So I closed the app hoping to upgrade when it started no such luck and it lost all my work I did save it but could not git it back in the app. I clicked on my save and was able to go from there plus I had to look for a way to upgrade it should be an option.
