2025 Turbo Tax was far more complex than before!

I have used TurboTax for many, many years. It always works. Here's the thing: there are always subtle -- but signifcant -- changes in how to do things every year. This year's return required a portable hard drive, which did not interface with my new MacBook Pro. I finally worked around it, but it was a frustration right from the start. There were numerous forms that had to completed and signed making my printed return 29 pages long. I suppose most of those extra pages were due to government requirements. But geez! This was not the easy-peasy TurboTax that I have known, used and appreciated for so many years.

IP Pin ?? no where to enter on return

When filing return Turbo did not ask for my assigned IP Pin issued by Dept. of Treasury. Clearly states on form from Treasury if IP Pin not entered could result in rejection of tax return or delay processing.

TT Review

I had a problem again this year with entering the 1099Rs. TT kept automatically checking the US Government box instead of the Local Governments option. I deleted and re-entered the data 3 times with the same result. Also needs better explanations for Annuities from Unions.
