Installation pains every year

I have starting problems as installation gives trouble and many times cannot transfer last years return file in my computer without several efforts

First error ever in program

Poorly Done

Right out of the box software issue related to transfer of files from last years return - had to go out to help site to figure out how to fix. This was annoying and suggests you all are not doing due diligence before releasing software. The refund processing section is also poorly done - as it doesn't tell you up front about a $40 processing fee if deciding to take cost to file state from federal refund. Poorly presented. You all should be doing better than this.

Turbo Tax is easy to use.

Turbo Tax made it easy to complete all the required paperwork. It asks the questions that prompt you (me) to answer what it needed to finish the required information. I still try to itemize my deductions, knowing that Turbo Tax will correctly tell me the best way to file; use Standard Deductions.

Fix the process for entering multiple 1099s

I have been using TurboTax since the 90s. We've had our ups and downs, but I have to say I really, really hate the back and forth in the 2025 version when entering 1099s. What an inefficient and painful process that was, going all the way back to the beginning and having the same general questions come up at the end every time I entered another one. My god!
Oh, and also having 2 sets of state boxes at the bottom of the 109 for led me to enter them twice and double the taxes. If you're going to have 2 sets of boxes, you better explain why and when to use them.
